Ruby F. Wiseman, 91, of Corydon, died Monday, March 11, 2019, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon. She was born June 20, 1927 in Central, Indiana. She was retired from the Bata Shoe Company in Salem, Indiana, was formerly employed at the Ideal Cafeteria, Jock’s Lunch and Granny’s Restaurant all in Corydon, and was a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church near Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Verna A. Watson; her husband, Ralph Denzil Wiseman; and her son, Steven Dale Wiseman. Survivors include her son, Ronnie Wiseman of Mauckport; her daughter, Betty Jo Davis (Yogi) of Corydon; her grandchildren, Heather Carver (Jeff), Ginger Menges (Tim), and Steven Wiseman; and her great grandchildren, Gregory, Chelsea, Grace and Easton. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Rev. Jim Higdon will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, 3440 Hwy 337 SE, Corydon, Indiana 47112. Pallbearers will be Heather Carver, Ginger Menges, Amanda Hartley, Greg Carver, Grace Carver and Chelsea Menges.
