Obituary of Ruby Lane Waldrop Rowland Ruby was born July 23, 1936 to the union of Irene and German Waldrop in Clarks, LA and she passed from this life on December 16, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a retired Cotton Buyer who owned Rowland Cotton Company and she loved to ride horses. She was first Lions Club Rodeo Queen in 1953 and loved to go to Rodeos with her husband.

Ruby was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She would say life is simple, work hard and love your family. She will be truly missed.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Columbia and most importantly loved God. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jimmie Ben Rowland, her parents Irene and German Waldrop, Patsy Bernadine Stamper and Bonnie Merle Ledbetter, sisters. She is survived by her daughter Sarah McDowell, son-in-law Clayton McDowell; Haley Lane White, granddaughter and Chase Covington, grandson.

Sadie and Sophia White, granddaughters. Numerous nieces and nephews. She loved her animals, Sister, Mary Beth, and Peanut.

There will be a private service for the family held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial to Jimmy Swaggart Minstry.
