Rungnapa Lu Kingston, 71, of the village of Lake Hallie, died peacefully at home on Friday, March 22, 2019 under the care of Mayo Clinic Home Health and Hospice. She was born May 3, 1947 in Bangkok, Thailand. On September 10, 1969 she married David Kingston in Bangkok, Thailand.

Lu retired as a Computer Programmer on March 31, 2014 after 35 years of civil service with the U.S. Navy. Lu is survived by her husband, David; son, James (Christine) Kingston of Huntington Beach, CA; daughter, Kathy (Rick) Torkelson of Lake Hallie; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kristin, Jacob and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Ryder and Nohl; as well as many relatives in Thailand. A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m., Monday, April 1 at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, 44 E Columbia St., Chippewa Falls with Rev.

Jim Woldhuis officiating. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
