Ruth’s Obituary Ruth A. (Wiese) Brier, 98, Green Bay, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019. She was born on April 6, 1920, in Green Bay to Arthur and Agnes (Dave) DeBot. Ruth attended Green Bay West High School.

She worked for Response Graphics for 30 years until her retirement in 1984. She married James Wiese on July 23, 1945. Together they raised three wonderful daughters.

James preceded her in death on January 1, 1999. Later she married Ernest Brier and they spent 17 wonderful years together. She loved to crochet and taking care of her flower garden.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Linda Hendricks, Susan (Gary) Thurlow and Joan (Jim) Hanson; grandchildren, Debbie (Mike May) McAllister, Michelle (Joe) Eggener and Brian (Kristy) Thurlow; great-grandchildren, Shawn, Taylor, Eric, Molly, Katrina, L.J., Kayla and Caden; great-great-grandchildren, Paisley, Kyler, Gavin and Owen; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Brier; a son-in-law, Mel Hendricks; a grandson, Jamie Wiese; two brothers and a sister. Friends may call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 9th St., from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Thursday, followed by The Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev.
