Rosemarie’s Obituary Rosemarie (Valentine) Capelle, 72, Green Bay, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019. She was born on December 12, 1946 to Marvin and Mildred (Finnel) Valentine. Rosemarie was a graduate of Green Bay East High School and continued her education at NWTC for one year to become an LPN.

She was employed by St. Vincent Hospital from 1966 to 1978 and then was a foster parent with Brown County Social Services starting in 1979. On September 22, 1978, Rosemarie married Charles Capelle. Rosemarie was a wonderful foster parent for over 50 children since 1979.

She was also a volunteer with hospice, the Pals Program, and Special Olympics. Rosemarie enjoyed going out for breakfast, shopping at Kohls, and going to the casino. She also loved spending time with her two dogs Mayzie and Sophie.

She survived by her husband, Charles; children, Christine Jahnke; Kelly (Rob) Walters; Michael Capelle, Paula (Jake) Golden, and Jeff (Jamie) Capelle; three grandchildren, Quinn and Dylan Capelle, and Ashton Rowell; her mother, Mildred; brother, Michael (Connie) Valentine; niece, Melinda (Jeff) Starry; nephew, Dan Valentine; and many other relatives and friends. Rosemarie was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Valentine. Visitation will be held at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave.
