Effie’s Obituary Effie Lou Trepanier, 93, Green Bay, died Friday, March 8, 2019. She was born February 28, 1926, in Libertyville, IL to James L. and Anna (Latondras) Maddix. On July 2, 1949, she married Alvin Trepanier at SS.

Peter and Paul Catholic Church. In Effie’s younger years she worked at Larsen Canning Company and cleaned boarding rooms. She enjoyed caring for her yard and her flower gardens.

Effie loved spending time with her family. Effie is survived by her children and their spouses, Alvin Jr. “Buck” and Wendy Trepanier, Dennis and Debbie Trepanier, Debbie and Tom Kraus, Darlene Trepanier; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Al; a son, Darrell; and her siblings, Shirley, Loula, Fannie, James and Walter.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave. , from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 22, followed by the Funeral Service at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park. To send online condolences, please go to www.

BlaneyFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Effie’s name. The family extends their appreciation to the nurses and doctors at St. Mary’s Hospital 5th Floor, especially Dr. Sanfillpo-Tucker, and the staff of Unity Hospice.

A special thanks goes to her daughter, Darlene, for the loving care given to Effie to ensure that she could remain in her home.
