Erica’s Obituary Erica Marie Mitchell has made her way to Heaven on March 9, 2019 after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. On May 31, 1971 she was born in Ohio to Letherene Mitchell-Smith and Jimmy Lee Jackson. She was raised in Chicago and made her home in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Erica had a genuine heart and you could love her the first moment you met her. She would help any person in need and invite anyone into her home. Erica loved to cook and eat – you could win her over with a good meal.

She also loved money and would spend hours in the casino, but when you work hard, you get to play hard. Everyone knows that her only true love was her son, Cordell Lee Mitchell-Harris. There was nothing that she would not do for Cord.

Some people say she spoiled him rotten, but the truth is she loved him with her whole heart and mind. Erica leaves behind her heart broken family. Her Grandma, Rosa Lee Mitchell; her Mother and Father, Letherene Smith and Frank Richardson.

Her Husband, Linton Harris; Her Beloved Son, Cordell Lee Mitchell-Harris. Her Nedra “Kay” McGriff. Her significant other, Calissa Hatcher.

Her Sister and Brother-in-law, Francine and Michael Mitchell-Dundy. Her Nieces, Crystal and JaLisa. Her Nephews, Donnavan, Donyell, Cierra, Anthony, D’Maryon.

Her Uncles, Cleo Mitchell, Cleon Mitchell. Her Aunts, Irma Mitchell. Host of Great Nieces and Nephews.

Her Goddaughter, LarKricia McDaniel. Her Babies, Jaylene, Jayseon “Dough Boii”, Amirah, ArRiana, Brajai, Myesha, Luciano “Lucky”, Tatiana, Demaggio, Deangelo, Tamara, Dominique, Cameron. Her very special sister, Angela Conway-Marshall.

Her close friends, Jessica King and Cherlynn Banister. Her “Work Husband” Walter Calvert. Her Three Amigos, Tangie, Patricia “Pooh”, and Sonya.

Erica joins her Father, Jimmy Lee Jackson. Grandfather, James Mitchell. Uncles, Otis Mitchell, Henry Presley.

Aunt, Marie Clark in Heaven. Visitation will be held at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave. , from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16, followed by a sharing of memories service at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
