Ruth Ann (Neff) Roese, age 80, of Southern Pines, Columbus passed away at her home Tuesday, March 26, 2019 with loved ones by her side. She was born August 12, 1938 in Fostoria, Ohio to the late Charles and Dora Osborne Neff. Ruth was a very supportive and caring U.S. Army wife to her husband, Danny whom she married in 1960.

She was a phenomenal mother and fabulous cook for her family. Ruth was a giving and generous soul who helped everyone she could and never met a stranger. Survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Danny J. Roese; children, Diana (Richard) Wewetzer, Danny L. Roese, Jarold “Chip” (Donna) Roese, Angel (Brian) Chaffin.

13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; sisters, Betty J. Smith, Sonja L. (Mike) Roese, Cathy Nunamaker; brother, Charles K. (Mary) Neff; many nieces, nephews and other dear family. Ruthie was preceded in death by daughter, Teresa Ann Romaine (2010); brother, Ralph E. Neff (2010); daughter in law, Stephanie Lynn Roese. Friends may call at the O. R. WOODYARD CO.

CHAPEL, 1346 S. High Street, Sunday March 31, 2019 from 2 to 5 p.m. where funeral service will be held Monday 1 P.M. Pastor Mike Reynolds officiating. Interment Harrison Township Cemetery. The family wishes to express their appreciation for all the love and care from Central Ohio Hospice Care, and the nurses, Terri and Tammy.
