KING 1978-2019, 40 Marcus Dale King, age 40, son of Lynda N. King and Dan King, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 3, 2019. Marc was born May 29th, 1978, in Nurnberg, Germany. He attended Liberty High School in Hinesville, Georgia, along with Savannah Technical College.

Marc grew up living and seeing many parts of the world including Germany, California, Texas, Kentucky, and Georgia. Marc loved his family and people in general. He was always willing to help any family member or friend in need.

He enjoyed having fun at family gatherings riding ATVs. And like many of us, he was blessed with an extra portion of the gift of gab. He was tender hearted to a fault.

It was these and the many other fine qualities that made him special to all who knew him. Marc is survived by his parents, daughter Taylor (James) Bridenbaker, grandson Nathaniel, siblings: Matthew (Candice) King, Carla (Steve) Robertson, Matthew Cordle, and Logan (Brandon) Jones; nephews Jacob, Jordan, and Jamie Robertson and niece, Charley King, He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was blessed to have a best bud like Tommy Howard.

And a special friend that was close to his heart. Services for our loving son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend will be officiated on Friday, March 8th, 2019 by Pastor Mike Spencer at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitations will be held at the O.R. WOODYARD CO.

CHAPEL 1346 S. High St. on Thursday, March 7th, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM followed by a family service on Friday at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Chapel. Interment will follow immediately after. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Marcus Dale King please visit our Sympathy Store.
