Obituary for Ruth Ann Rush Dateline – Laurens, SC Ruth Ann Totten Bakley Rush, 79, of 4782 Neely Ferry Rd. , Laurens, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 16, 2018. She was born in Phillipsburg, NJ, moving to SC in the late 70’s, and was a daughter of the late Vincent and Louella Margeson Totten.

Ruth is survived by two sons, Alfred W. Bakley (Patricia) of Laurens and David S. Bakley (Lisa) of Williamston; two daughters, Dorothy L. Bakley (Randy Payton) of Laurens and Betty B. Rush Roper (Richard) of Anderson; a brother, William C. Totten (Mary) of NJ; two sisters, Virginia Totten (Bud Bishop) of NJ, and Dorothy Solliday of VA; thirteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a husband, Alfred S. Bakley, Jr., and a sister, Ethel Berger. A memorial service will be held at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Laurens on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at 1:00 PM.

The family will be at the home located at 4782 Neely Ferry Rd. , Laurens, SC. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Shelby Deitz, P. O. Box 481, Clinton, SC 29325.
