Ruth Dyer Delaney, longtime resident of Soap Lake, WA, passed away on December 13, 2018 in Salt Lake City, UT. Ruth was born in Condon, OR to Orva & Marge Dyer on July 27, 1932. She married Jerry Delaney on October 5, 1951 in Lebanon, OR.

She was office manager for House Laundry in Ephrata for over 35 years. She enjoyed many years of farming on their wheat farm on High Hill in Soap Lake while raising 5 children. They later moved to Lakeview where she loved cooking, baking, gardening & sitting on the “Veranda” watching the neighborhood activity & visiting with all that stopped by.

She is survived by husband, Jerry; daughters, Sue (Ed) Matheus, Jody (Clint) Hansen & sons, Nick (Shauna) Delaney, Rick (Karen) Delaney; two sisters & one brother; numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Mike Delaney; parents & 2 sisters.
