Ruth Gagliardi, 92, of Ambridge, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. She was born July 2, 1926, in Lisbon, Ohio, to the late Samuel and Mable Kitterman Fleet. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She took care of her whole family, making sure everyone was fed with her wonderful cooking. She was a member of the Good Samaritan Catholic Church. She enjoyed her many years working in the cafeteria of the Economy Elementary School and bingo.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Orlando “Gigs” Gagliardi and ten brothers and sisters. Surviving are two daughters, her caregiver, Sandra Eckle, of Pittsburgh, and Joni Gagliardi of Ambridge, a son, Frank (Cindy) Gagliardi of Edmond, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Scott (Meghan) Eckle, Sean Eckle, Max (Michelle) Gagliardi, and Gus Gagliardi, great grandchildren, Charlotte Eckle, Jack and Max Charles Gagliardi, and a brother John Fleet. At Ruth’s request, there will be no public visitation.

A private committal service will be held in the Sylvania Hills Mausoleum.
