Obituary for Ruth Johnson Winslow Ruth Johnson Winslow, 87, died July 14, 2018. A native of Asheboro, NC, she was the daughter of the late Hoyt and Willie Grace Johnson. Ruth was a retired LPN and enjoyed dancing.

She was a member of the East Virginia Cloggers. Survivors include her husband, Joe Thomas Winslow; three daughters, Sherry Edwards and husband Gary, Katherine “Kitty” Wilkerson, and Lynn Vogel and husband Dennis; two sons, Frederick Kinney and Noel T. Winslow; twelve grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Ruth will be taken from Sturtevant Funeral Home to Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro, NC for a graveside service at Pleasant Hill UMC Cemetery in Seagrove, NC, on Friday, July 20, at 1 PM.
