Obituary for Sallie G. Riggins Loris… Sallie Ann Graham Riggins was born in Loris, South Carolina on March 15, 1954 and left this earthly home to be with our Lord on May 6, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Sam T. Graham and Magaline Johnson Graham. Sallie attended Horry County Public Schools, including Finklea High School.
As a young woman she was quite industrious, working various jobs early in her career. She worked as part of the staff of Paul’s Seafood Restaurant in Loris, SC, and later became a manager of the produce department at IGA also in Loris. In 1975 she married the love of her life Jestee Riggins and they remained faithful to each other for over thirty years, until his passing in 2004.
At an early age Sallie accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of her life. She later joined Grace Tabernacle Church in Loris, where she attended bible studies and classes which strengthened her daily walk with God. Sallie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and was well known by all in the surrounding communities in Loris.
It can be truly said that she never met a person that she could not talk to, and in doing so, she would also have time to witness of the goodness of the Lord to them. Sallie was passionate about helping others in any way she could. This was ultimately her God given purpose and mission before taking flight to her heavenly home.
In addition to her husband and parents, Sallie was preceded in death by a baby daughter, Kerry Gail, stepson Orea Riggins, five brothers, Tommy Graham, Freeman Graham, Thomas Graham, Edward Graham, Jerome Graham and three sisters, Marjorie Stanley, Phyllis Graham, and Pricilla Porter. She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving daughter Kimberly Graham of the home, stepdaughter Renae D.
