Obituary for Richard Kenneth Bodie Prosperity, SC…. Richard Kenneth Bodie, age 81, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Conway Medical Center. Born September 4, 1936 in Goldville, SC, he was the son of the late Horace and Andrella Sherbert Bodie.

Mr. Bodie was a US Navy Veteran. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Horace “Boowie” Bodie, Jr. and Theodore “Ted” Bodie, and his sister, Patricia Rasheed. Surviving are his two brothers, Bob Bodie of Batesburg and John Bodie of Newberry; nieces and nephews, Carl Bodie, Bryan Bodie, Karen Milliken, Paul Bodie, Craig Bodie, Laura Breckenridge, Jimmy Rasheed, Larry Rasheed, Ann Rasheed, and Melanie Kicklighter.
