Obituary for Kathy G. Calhoun Conway, SC Kathy G. Calhoun, 68, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at her home in Conway after a long illness. Born May 16, 1950 in Conway, she was the Daughter of the late J.L. Geddings and Kathryne Harker Geddings. She was a 1968 graduate of Conway High School and retired from State Farm Claims.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Calhoun, of almost 50 years, and her children Kathy Jo Calhoun of Conway and Lon Calhoun (Russ) of Myrtle Beach. She is preceded in death by her sister Andrea Hucks (Levy) and survived by her sister Laurie Russell (Frank) of Conway. Kathy will be remembered for her warm, caring nature, dedication to her family and great love for all the little ones who called her Meme.

Family was the center of her life and she believed, firmly, that family did not mean only those who are relatives. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Bob Taylor and Rev.

Lindsey Inman officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
