Obituary for Robert “Bob” M. Shoup Robert “Bob” M. Shoup Robert M. Shoup age 87, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at his residence. Born in Emporium, PA, he was a son of the late Peter and Veronica Shoup. Bob was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was formerly of the Patriotic Alliance and was a 60 year member of the American Legion, VFW, Elks and Moose lodge. Bob retired after 30 years at AVX and also worked with National Rental Car.

He had a two year associate degree from Penn State University. Bob is preceded in death by his first wife, Florence M. Shoup; second wife, Gloria B. Shoup; and brother, John E. Shoup. Survivors include a brother, James C. Shoup (Jane) of Latrobe, PA; several nieces and nephews; and his significant other, Sophia Finnegan of Murrells Inlet, SC.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project at woundedwarriorproject.org Services will be scheduled at a later date.
