OBITUARY Sally Eleanor Bartley April 28, 1933 – January 8, 2019 Sally Eleanor Bartley, age 85, of Okemos, Michigan passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday January 8, 2019. Sally was born to Henry and Mayme Woehler in Lansing, MI on April 28, 1933. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, sister Cora Lou Hodney, brother Terry Woehler, step-parents Art and Marjorie Penner and step-son Mark Bartley.

Left to cherish Sally’s memory is her loving husband of 41 years Vincent “Bill”, daughter Pam Ayers, son Terry Collier, sister Victoria (Ken) Murray, step-daughter, Susan Bartley, and several nieces and nephews. Sally was a wonderful and loving wife and mother. She loved spending time with family.

Sally enjoyed swimming especially at the Parkwood YMCA with her many friends. She loved her kitties, shopping, and decorating for the holidays. One of her favorite things to do was looking at her beautiful flower garden.

Sally was a very upbeat and positive person. She could make you smile and brighten your day. Sally always had a giggle in her voice.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River, East Lansing. A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with a 1 hour prior visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Capital Area Humane Society 7095 W. Grand River, Lansing, MI 48906, Michigan Dyslexia Institute, 532 E. Shiawassee, Lansing, MI 48912 or a Charity of your choosing.
