OBITUARY Sally Mae Bunce September 25, 1927 – November 28, 2018 Sally Mae Bunce September 25, 1927 – November 27, 2018 Sally Mae Bunce, 91, died peacefully Tuesday, November 27 at her residence at The Tradition in Dallas, Texas. She will be interred privately in December at Southern Pines, North Carolina. Sally will be remembered and honored at a private gathering of her family in Dallas later this year.

Gifts in her honor may be made to Allstar Hospice, 1032 W. Pioneer Pkwy. , Ste 200, Arlington, TX 76013, who provided care and comfort to Sally at the end of her life. Sally was born September 25, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio to Walter and Nina Slater.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Bunce. Sally was known by friends and family as an enthusiastic and competitive bridge player and by her friends at The Tradition later in her life as a frequent and entertaining participant in Bingo games where, against all odds, she was reportedly a frequent winner. She enjoyed domestic and foreign travel and loved her time at family gatherings.

Friends and family admired her sharp mind and gift for a sharp and ironic sense of humor. Sally is survived by a sister, Bebe DeWolf of Cleveland, Ohio, and nieces Jean Ingersoll of Dallas, Texas and Nancy Easton of Kansas City, Missouri and their families.
