Mr. Salome Wilson Villarreal February 20, 1938 – January 26, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Salome (Sal) Wilson Villarreal passed away January 26, 2019. He was born February 20, 1938 to Salome Villarreal, Jr., and Olga Wilson Villarreal in Beeville, Texas. He was stationed in Korea while serving in the United States Army.

Salome was employed as a Welder at CPC International (Corn Products) until the plant closed. He then worked as a self-employed rig welder until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Ruben and oldest daughter Sharon Lea Flores.

He is survived by the love of his life Sandra Gorham Villarreal to whom he was married over sixty years, his daughter Shirley Villarreal and son Gerald (Viola) Villarreal. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Summer Flores, Ian Flores, Adam (Janie) Flores, Dylan Garcia and Carly Garcia; great grandchildren Annabelle, Ethan, Aislinn and Evan. He is also survived by his sisters, Olga Fuentes and Ysidra Gamez.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home chapel ”A” with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Interment with full military honors will be held at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery on a future date.
