She was born on Mar 17, 1928 in Leon, KS. She is preceded in death by her parents Scott & Vera King, husband Monte Ja Nix, & son Scott Jennings of OK.

Words cannot ever touch the surface of how Beautiful Loving, Caring, Thoughtful, Special and Unique Meme has always been. She was an amazing Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grand & Great Grandmother and friend. Such a beautiful lady with a smile that would light up a room, with a fun mix of orneriness humor and stubbornness, “You always knew where you stood with her”.

She worked at the Credit Bureau in Wichita, KS, focused on family & moved to Oklahoma City, then worked for Brunswick Coronado Lanes, Service Master, Central Copy Company, Morrisons and Gilliland Realty. She was active in ABWA & her bunco groups, where she made lifelong friends. She enjoyed being with family and her many friends, having good times, playing jokes on her sisters and family & friends.

She loved bowling, fishing, playing bingo, bunco, slot machines, cards, dominos, and was a Jayhawker and Thunder fan to the core. She enjoyed betting on and watching sports, and of course winning with the help of her lucky charms and superstitions. She was very proud of all her children, grand & great grandchildren’s many accomplishments.

She is survived by her son Terry Jennings & wife Valarie, daughter Becky Jennings, sisters Marjorie and Gail, grandchildren Angie, Alyssa, Brandy, Christina, Erinn, Cody, great grandchildren Taralynn, Garrett, Jada, Preston, Triston, Devin, Kayla, & Abigail, and many family and friends. We are so blessed to have known you, we Love and miss you dearly Meme!
