Frederick G. “Fred” Curren July 09, 1942 – November 24, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Fred was born to George and Girline Curren on July 9, 1942 and grew up in Norman, Oklahoma. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base for 35 years as a Quality Specialist on jet engines. After retiring from TAFB he opened his own business Precision Edges where he serviced many salons and barber shops for 10 years.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, gardening, snow skiing, and spending time with family. He was an avid OU fan and loved watching the games. He was preceded in death by his parents, his two brothers, and his daughter, Kelly Landreth.

He is survived by his wife, Janet, his son Mark Curren and wife Crystal, his daughter, Jennifer Hopper and husband Bryan and his son, Jason Beeman. He was extremely proud of his grandchildren Caleb Curren and wife, Hannah, Kyle Curren, William, Tim, and Jessica Landreth, Corbin Beeman, Caitlin McCoy, Ella, Elise, and Aiden Hopper. He loved Molly, his golden retriever, with all his heart.

He was a member of Church of the Servant where he enjoyed years of serving the Lord with the Care Team and teaching Sunday School. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, December 1st at 4 PM in the chapel of Buchanan Funeral Service.
