Adalea was a devoted wife and mother. Her husband, James Taylor Duncan predeceased her in 2006.

She is survived by daughters and their husbands: Tricia and Dave Beverage and Nancy and Mark Simoneau. She will also be missed by her three grandsons, Forest Simoneau, Fox Simoneau and Michael Beverage. Adalea, and her twin Adalene (d.

2005), were born December 6, 1930 in Headrick, Oklahoma to the late James and Mae Belle Keeling Parrent. One of the youngest of 11 children, she is survived by one brother F. E. Parrent. Adalea was a faithful, life-long member of Northwest Church of Christ.

Services will be held at Buchanan Funeral Service on Friday, October 5 at 1:00 PM.
