OBITUARY Shirley Jean Wellborn August 5, 1944 – December 12, 2018 Shirley Jean Wellborn passed away December 12, 2018. She was born to Roy O. and Dorothy (Hall) Wellborn on August 5, 1944 in Oklahoma City. She was educated in the Oklahoma City public schools.

From 1958-1983 she worked alongside her father in Minneapolis before coming to Oklahoma City. She was well-traveled and loved to shop! On one of her flights, she met the young Jim Scarborough, who she would fall in love with.

She modeled in bridal shows at Margaret’s in Penn Square. She went on to work for Blue Cross & Blue Shield where she worked until retirement. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Roy Thomas Wellborn and her companion, Jim.

She is survived by her brother Jack and his wife DeeAnna Wellborn, and sister, Dorothy Luke as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 10 am, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
