Thomas Richard Boeckman February 11, 1941 – September 04, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Thomas Richard Boeckman, 77, of Edmond, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Tom was born on February 11, 1941 in Okeene to Anthony Conrad Boeckman and Arlene Catherine Luetkemeyer Boeckman. He attended St. Mary’s High School in Okeene, graduating in 1959.

He attended St. Gregory’s College in Shawnee and Oklahoma State University and earned a bachelor’s degree of science in business in 1963. He served in the Army Reserve from 1963 to 1967 and the Air Force Reserve until 1969. He married Ruth Alice Schaefer on June 24, 1967 in Okarche.

He worked as an accountant in Tulsa, Stillwater, and Amarillo Texas, where he retired in 2006 from Jack B Kelley Inc. After retirement he and his wife moved to Oklahoma City and enjoyed visiting family and friends. He enjoyed golfing and served as a volunteer marshall at the Lake Hefner golf course. Surviving are his wife, of Edmond, two sons, Timothy and wife Rachel of Tulsa and Jeffrey and wife Elise of The Colony, Texas, three grandchildren, Evelyn, Katherine, and Aaron, and nine siblings, Ann Goodwin of Okeene, Anthony Boeckman of Medford, Bill Boeckman of Ft.

Smith, Margaret Laubach of Okeene, Robert Boeckman of Okeene, Walter Boeckman of Enid, Theresa Merrifield of Enid, John Boeckman of Enid, and Paul Boeckman of Tulsa. He was preceded in death by his brother Jerry and an infant brother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Epiphany of the Lord in Oklahoma City at 10:00am on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

A Prayer Service will be held at the church at 7:00pm on Monday, September 10, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society (svdpusa.org).
