Salvador “Filo” Afanador Martell Jr., 48, of Cleveland passed away unexpectedly at his residence Thursday, November 22, 2018. He was born January 12, 1970 in Lorain. Salvador was a certified mechanic for Atlas Transmission.

He loved working on cars , and cooking out on his BBQ. Survivors include his sisters Eva (Harry) Martell Sr., Ava “Profy” both of Cleveland, Zayra of Florida, Carmen Afanador of Lorain; step-brother George Cuevas of Lorain; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, loyal… Read More » friends , and his beloved dogs (Furr babies). He was preceded in death by his parents Salvador Afandor Martell Sr. and Margarita Garza Rosa; grandparents Ramon and Olivia Garza.

Family will receive friends 6:30-7:30 PM Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626, where a prayer service will be held at 7:15 PM.
