Joseph W. Kraps, 91, of Elyria passed away Saturday November 17, 2018 at the Elyria Wesleyan Village following a long illness. He was born March 22, 1927 in Macksburg, OH. and was an Elyria resident for most of his life.

Joe was the owner of Spectrum Color Lab in Elyria, was a W.W. II United States Army veteran and enjoyed woodworking and photography. Survivors include his sons, Jim (Judy) Kraps and John Kraps; grandchildren, Jason (Lindsey) Kraps and Jamie (Austin) Zrenner; 2 great-grandchidren. … Read More » He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor, sister, Louise Zipp and brothers, Donald, Robert and William Kraps.

All services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the donor’s favorite National Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
