Geraldine M. Kawell (nee: Gawlik) 78, of Elyria passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday December 21, 2018 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born September 22, 1948 in Elyria. Geraldine loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking for her family, and was an animal lover.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Edward and Laverne (nee: Schmidt) Gawlik, four sisters; Pat Foster, Mary Lou Strahele, Joyce Orzech, Karen Springer, two brothers; Edward Gawlik (Jean), Eugene (Judy).
