OBITUARY Salvatore Piumetti September 1, 1933 – December 4, 2018 Sam Salvatore (Toto) Piumetti, 85, passed away December 4, 2018. He was born to the late Pietro Piumetti and Domenica Caruso, September 1, 1933 in San Giuseppe Jato, Sicily. He married Rosa Troia in 1966 and immigrated to Los Angeles, CA in 1968 to begin their new life together.

Sam was active in the Italian- Catholic community and enjoyed gardening, good food, and spending time with his family and friends. Sam is survived by his two daughters Rita Garvin of Paradise valley, AZ and Maria Reilly of Playa Del Rey, CA and his sons-in-law Sam Garvin and James Reilly. He had 5 grandchildren: Sam Christopher Garvin, Alison Garvin, Lauren Garvin, Catherine Reilly, and Rose Reilly.
