OBITUARY Sam Mullins October 11, 1940 – January 3, 2019 Sam Mullins, 78, of Ravenna, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019. Sam was born in Welch, West Virginia on October 11, 1940 to parents John and Della (Kelly) Mullins. He travelled north when he was nineteen and settled in Ravenna where he began a long career working at Chrysler in Twinsburg, retiring after 32 years of service.

He was a member of the UAW and the American Pool Association. He enjoyed shooting pool and participating in many eight ball tournaments and liked fishing. Sam had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Sam is survived by his children: Billy (Lisa) Mullins, Linda (Frank) Nestrole and step-children: Carol Madison, Tom Crist and Bobbie Jo (Dave) Ware. Also surviving are grandchildren: Brent Clemetson, Tyler Nestrole, Joseph Mullins, Nicholas Mullins, Cody Mullins and great-granddaughter Kayleigh Clemetson. He also leaves his long-time companion Sharon Mullins, daughter-in-law Angela Mullins and his brother Harvey (Mary) Mullins.

Sam was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Juanita Mullins, his son Robert Lee Mullins and one sister and three brothers. Cremation has taken place and private family graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date. Condolences and memories may be shared at wood-kortright-borkoski.com.
