Obituary for Samuel Armstrong Dateline: Three Rivers, Texas Samuel Armstrong, age 82, passed away peacefully at a nursing home in George West Following an extended illness. He was born to George Millard and Callie Oretha (Washburn) Armstrong on December 24, 1935 in Three Rivers, Texas. He retired from the TRISD where he drove a school bus for many years.

He married Earlene Coleman and they resided in Three Rivers for many years. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Three Rivers. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include his wife Ruby Earlene (Coleman) Armstrong of Three Rivers. Three sisters Mozelle Ploch of Three Rivers, Doris Dickinson of Pleasanton and Nell Blaha of Tilden. One brother Philip Merlin (Janice) Armstrong of George West, Texas.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 9-11 with the Funeral Service to begin at 11 am at the First Assembly of God Church of Three Rivers. Burial will follow at the Three Rivers Cemetery. Services entrusted to Roberson Funeral Home, Three Rivers.
