Samuel Curtis Dotson, 51, of Paducah, died Monday morning, October 22nd, 2018 at Mercy Health Hospital of Paducah. Sam was a retired mechanic, a veteran of the US Navy as a Navy SEAL, and was a member of Christ Community Church of Paducah. Sam is survived by his wife, Cara; seven children, Ashley Dotson of Illinois, Brittney Tucker of Paducah, Jonathan Dotson of Panama City, FLA.

, Amanda Dotson of Benton, KY. , Nicole Dotson of Panama City, FLA. , Samuel Dotson Jr. and Liam Dotson of Paducah; one brother, John T. Dotson II of Revloc, PA.

; one sister, Laura Dotson of Reidland; his mother, Karen Dotson of Paducah; eighteen grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John T. Dotson. Friends may visit the family on Friday, October 26th, 2018 at Christ Community Church of Paducah from 6pm until 8pm.

Memorial services will begin at 8pm following visitation with Pastor Tim Turner officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the March of Dimes. Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
