Samuel “Just Sam” J. Bursac, 66, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019. He was born in Wadsworth, Ohio on August 24, 1952 and was a resident of Barberton for most of his life. Sam was a graduate of Barberton High School, Class of 1970 and a 1974 graduate from the University of Akron.

He was a tutor at Wadsworth High School and also taught at Barberton City Schools. Sam was owner/operator of Educare Preschool and Day Care. He managed Lee’s Bait and Tackle, was a department manager at Dick’s Sporting Goods and was a faithful member of St. Demetrius Serbian Orthodox Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, Nick and Dorothy Bursac; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Leland and Ann Stuck and son, Nick. Sam is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Tricia (Andy) Richards; grandchildren, Kylie, Evie and Declan; brother, John (Linda) Bursac; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert (Sheryl) Stuck and Richard (Bonnie) Stuck; numerous nieces, nephews; along with many other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. at St. Demetrius Serbian Orthodox Church, 3106 Ridgewood Road, Akron, Ohio 44333 with Fr.

Dragan Goronjic officiating. Burial at Lakewood Cemetery. Sam’s family will receive friends on Monday at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave.

, Barberton 44203 from 4 to 7 p.m. with Parastas service at 7 p.m., visitation will also be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Demetrius Church.
