Trammel, 70, of Columbia City, died at 3:40 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne where she was admitted on Tuesday. She was born January 26, 1949 in Fort Wayne, Indiana a daughter of Jack Denzil and Esther Elaine (Davis) Gloor. At the age of five, the family moved to Hicksville, OH from Payne, OH.

She attended Hicksville High School. After high school, she moved to Fort Wayne. In 1978, she went to work for North American Van Lines where she worked for 24 years.

On May 23, 1981, she was united in marriage to Charles “Chuck” N. Trammel. They made their home in Fort Wayne. In 2000, they moved to Columbia City.

Mr. Trammel died on November 9, 2016. She is survived by two sons, Russell Johnson, Auburn, and Michael Todd Johnson; a daughter, Kimberly K. Johnson, Fort Wayne; her mother, Esther Fisher, Payne, OH; step-children, Larry Trammel, Troy Trammel, Nichol (Ken) Tiley, all of Fort Wayne, and Ronald (Tammy) Trammel, Ossian; 8 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a brother, Larry A. Gloor, Colorado Springs, CO. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack D. Gloor.

The funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. Burial at the Greenhill Cemetery, Columbia City. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials are to the donor’s choice.
