Sandra L. Smith, (nee-Klamut), 69, of Grafton passed away Sunday October 21, 2018 at her home following a brief illness. She was born September 10, 1949 in Lakewood and was a Grafton resident for most of her life. Sandy worked at the Kohl’s Department Store at the Westgate Shopping Plaza for 18 years, retiring as a visual display supervisor.

She was an avid scuba diver and dog agility handler with her canine companions, Murphy, Maverick and Slider. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Florence Klamut and a brother, Mark Klamut.

The family will receive friends Saturday October 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a brief prayer service at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Partner’s with Paws P.O. Box 277 Oberlin, OH. 44074.
