Obituary of Sandra Comer Sandra Kay Comer, 71, Gas City, passed away at 10:57 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2019, in her home. She was born in Marion on February 10, 1948, to the late Eugene and Berneice (Myers) Stotts, and was a lifelong resident of Grant County. Sandra worked at General Electronics.

She enjoyed gambling at the casino, spending time with her family and friends, and doing crafts and ceramics. She is survived by her companion of 35 years, James Jones, Gas City; children: LaRita Vetor, Marion; Erin Bowman, Gas City; Amber Comer Lutton, Crossville, TN; Nicole Comer, Gas City; Terry (Carol) Jones, Jonesboro; Gary (Susan) Jones, Fort Wayne; Jack Jones, Marion; and Richard Jones, Marion; siblings: Tom (Karen) Joseph, Upland, and Brenda Reece, Upland; sister-in-law, Barbara Stotts, Marion; and best friend, Diane McHenry, Gas City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Derek Comer; brother, Frank Stotts; sisters, Betty Gose, Loretta Ginter, and Ida Stephens; and daughter, Linda Vetor.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. Immediately following the time of visitation, Sandra’s funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating.
