OBITUARY Santos Salgado June 23, 1926 – September 28, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Santos Salgado, age 92, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018. Santos was born on June 23, 1926 to parents Juan and Rosella Salgado in Cabin Creek, West Virginia. Santos had been retired for 26 years and had been employed by both the A.C. Williams Co. in Ravenna and Lampson & Sessions in Cleveland.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps where he was a member of the 466 Signal Corps stationed at Johnson Air Base in Japan and was a member of the VFW. Mr. Salgado loved his grandchildren and always took care of his family with open arms. He is survived by his children: Gregory Salgado, Mark (Tami) Salgado, and Sandra Salgado.

He also leaves his beloved grandchildren: Mark Salgado II, Gregory J. Salgado, Aimee Salgado, Briana Salgado, Robert Stacel Jr., Matthew Stacel, Rachelle Stacel, Michael (Mandy) Stacel, Christina Stacel and Jason (Rhonda) Dittmer and Michael (Joana) Dittmer. Also surviving Santos are his great-grandchildren: Dominick, Elijah, Paige, Nathan, and Mason, Aiyanna, Brynlee, Jordan, Carly, Brennan and Mason and his siblings: Raymond (Joyce) Salgado, Lita (Daniel) Totten and Carmen (Ron) Mitchen. Santos was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Cora, sons Santos and John Salgado; his granddaughter Nicci Salgado and his sisters: Rose and Mariana.

Friends will be received on Monday, October 1, 2018, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.
