Sarah McCurdy of Saginaw passed away Sunday July 29, 2018 at home surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness at the age of 36 years. Sarah was born on January 18, 1982 in Lansing, Michigan to Thomas McCurdy and Carmen (Johnson) McCurdy. She had been employed as a R.N. at Covenant Medical Center prior to her illness.

Sarah loved spending time with her family it was important to her. She is survived by her children Alexander McCurdy, Grace Schoenmeyer and Caden Schoenmeyer, her sister; Tabitha McCurdy, her mother Carmen McCurdy, her fiancé Justin Grocholski; 1 niece Kaitlyn, 2 nephews, Joshua, Jacob; many friends and other relatives. Funeral Service will take place Tuesday, July 31st at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg-Brietzke Funeral Home of Saginaw, 403 N Michigan Ave with Pastor Don Dinninger Officiating.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Private Burial to take place at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Sarah’s children with checks payable to Carmen McCurdy.
