Moriah Community died on Monday, December 31, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with the Reverend Clifford Matthews officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

He is survived by his children, Alyssa Hill (Jordan), Tori McQuagge and Austin Walker, Tristen McQuagge and Brianna; grandchildren, Baylor Hill and Lawson Hill; mother Margaret McQuagge; siblings, Debora (Billy) Martin, Terry (Diane) McQuagge, Jeffery (Sandra) McQuagge, Joy (Wade) Lowery, Betty (Keith) Norton; several aunts and uncles and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ben McQuagge, sisters, Gail McQuagge, Beverly McQuagge Leverette; brothers, Noland McQuagge, Teddy McQuagge and Dale McQuagge. In-lieu-of flowers memorials may be made to the Mt.

Moriah Outreach Program at 1053 County Road 1111, Troy, Alabama 36079.
