Craig Scott “Scottie” Arther, age 57 of the Dogtown Community, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019. Mr. Arther was born on July 24, 1961 to Leon & Lucille Hulgan Arther in Fort Payne. He was a member of Ruhama Baptist Church.

Funeral services for Mr. Arther will be 12 noon, Monday, May 20, 2019 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Walkers Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Arther is survived by his mother, Lucille Arther; brother & sister-in-law, Brian & Sandra Arther; sister & brother-in-law, Charlotte & Don Eberhart; sister-in-law, Donna Arther; and several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Arther; brother, Travis Arther; and sister, Wydeen Arther. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made toward the funeral expense. Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
