OBITUARY SGM Kenneth Emile Margavio Sr. February 3, 1943 – January 16, 2019 Play Tribute Movie Kenneth Emile Margavio, Sr., age 75 passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on January 16, 2019. He is preceded in death by the late Victor Margavio and Elaine Chasez Margavio, and brother, Victor Edward Margavio. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jane Meyn Margavio, his children, Kenneth Emile Margavio, Jr., Keith Edward Margavio (Jeanne), and Kelly Margavio McNulty, grandchildren, Hailey Margavio, Siannan McNulty, Melissa Margavio, and Patrick McNulty, sister, Linda Margavio Scuderi, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was a graduate of Jesuit High School; enlisted in the National Guard and Army Reserve 377th TAACOM, where he retired after 31 years as a Sgt. Major and received The Legion of Merit. He was PGK of the Knights of Columbus 9347.

A member of Local 60 and Local 198, he retired from Honeywell International, where he was an HVAC Tech. He was a long-time member of Our Lady of Divine Providence and was awarded the Order of St. Louis IX Medallion in 2012. He will be sadly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on January 19, 2019, at Our Lady of Divine Providence, 8617 West Metairie Ave. , Metairie, Louisiana 70003. Visitation with the family will be from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, the Mass will follow at 12:00 pm.

A private family Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kenneth’s honor to Our Lady of Divine Providence Church. FAMILY He is preceded in death by the late Victor Margavio and Elaine Chasez Margavio, and brother, Victor Edward Margavio.
