OBITUARY Shannon Forrest Perryman May 18, 1945 – September 24, 2018 Shannon Forrest Perryman, 73, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away at her home in Theodore on Monday, September 24, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip Ryder Forrest, Jr. and Anne Demeranville Forrest. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, and the love of her life, Doug Perryman; her two sons, D.J. (Vicki) Perryman and Forrest (Katie) Perryman; grandtwins, Raemy and Ryder Perryman; brother, Ryder Forrest; sisters, Pat Forrest and Helena Forrest Roldan; and Helena’s son, Philip Roldan.

Shannon was a product of the Catholic School System. She graduated from Convent of Mercy in 1963, followed by graduation from the University of Southern Mississippi. Shannon enjoyed a long career at Mobile Mental Health Center – during which time she helped co-found the Rape Crisis Center.

She adored her grandtwins, friends and family, sailing, and Willie Nelson. She is greatly loved and will be deeply missed. Visitation for Shannon will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile.

Her funeral service will be on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the Pine Crest Funeral Home chapel, with interment following in Pine Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: Mitchell Center 5950 Old Shell Rd.
