Sharon Kay Miller, age 79, of Grand Haven, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born on September 1, 1938 to the late Loyal and Eleanor (Ellsworth) Stout in Lansing, MI. Sharon married the love of her life, Glenn Miller, on January 25, 1958 in Lansing, MI, and they were married for 46 years before his death in 2003.

She was a long time resident of Grand Haven, and retired from Coldwell Banker Rycenga Real Estate. Sharon loved dancing, piano, art, music, going to the casinos, and HAPPINESS. She was beautiful inside and out, and loved get-togethers and spending time with the people she loved; especially her family, friends, and grandchildren.

Sharon was full of life and was a people person. To everyone who knew her, these were her most memorable traits. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Lynn (Daniel) Miller; two precious grandchildren, Austin (Jacque) Miller and Kaleigh (Justin) Grosjean; two great-grandchildren, Isla Mae Grosjean, and Linnea June Miller; a special nephew, Joshua “Joshy” (Khris) James; brother, Gene (Donna Jean) Stout; and special friend, Daryl Dygert.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sister, Gloria James; and brother-in-law, Marlin James. A Memorial Service for Sharon will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Klaassen Family Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Bytwerk officiating. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of North Ottawa Community or Harbor Humane Society.
