Sharon Lois “Shay” Schoenborn Stately, Little Bear “Makoons”, age 51, of Red Lake, MN journeyed to spirit world on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the Sanford Hospital in Bemidji with her family by her side. A wake for Sharon will begin at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the new Redby Center in Redby, MN and will continue until the funeral services on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Father Jerry Rogers will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Red Lake, MN.

Sharon was born on July 1, 1967 to Julius Schoenborn, Sr., and Elaine Donnell in Chicago, Illinois. Sharon and the family returned to Red Lake in 1969. Sharon graduated from the Flandreau Indian School in 1985.

She then graduated from Cosmetology School. She obtained her CNA certificate from the Vo-Tech in Bemidji. Sharon worked at the Jourdain/Perpich Nursing Home as a CNA.

Sharon then started at the Vo-Tech in Red Lake to become an LPN, she graduated and received her license in 1990. She began working for the Red Lake Comprehensive Health Services in 1991 and resigned in 2005 to pursue her RN degree. Sharon was an amazing mother who loved being with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She liked to color pictures with her grandchildren, she enjoyed doing her nails, listening to music and riding around with friends. Sharon made friends everywhere she went and children who met her instantly loved her. She was looking forward to the birth of her two grandchildren.

Sharon married Roman Stately, III on May 10, 2004 in Redby, MN. She is survived by her children Jared (Nakita) Schoenborn, Shannon (Mason) Jones, Marcus (Nora) Schoenborn, Alyssa (Antonio) Stately, Romi Stately, Roman Stately IV, Darren (Lorena) King, Sr., Sara King, Hilary (Jon) Gurno and Keisha (Brian Sr.) Stately; sisters Janice (Mott) Parkhurst, Cheryl (Oran Beaulieu) Schoenborn, Leah (Ron) Loud; brother Ryan (Michele) Auginash; namesake Sharon Shaye Beaulieu; goddaughter Kaylynn Chaboyea; grandchildren Monica, Aubrey, Peyton, Marissa, Jared Jr., Malayna, Marcus, Mason Jr., Manuel, Salena, Ra’Sharon, Darrian, Brandon Jr., Darren Jr., Dana, Brian Jr., Veronica, Stanley, Rikki, Xavier, Lachelle and Hazel. Honorary pallbearers will be Laurel Lussier, Wendy Johnson, Rosa Oakgrove, Andreis Hill, Melissa Johnson, Marilyn Spears, Stacy Hunter, Marilyn Robertson, Rochelle Kingbird, Kelly Schoenborn, Sophia Schoenborn, Delayna Donnell, Billie Jean Lasley and Amber Schoenborn.

Pallbearers will be Mason Jones, Sr., Travis Schoenborn, Jeff Schoenborn, Tyrone Schoenborn, Jr., Joey Beaulieu, Carson Mountain, Jr., Greg Stately and Dan Johnson. Alternates pallbearers are Frank Donnell, Jr., Lloyd Donnell and Tyrone Schoenborn, Sr She was preceded in death by her husband Roman Stately III; mother Elaine Donnell; father Julius Schoenborn, Sr; sister Karen Schoenborn; brothers David Schoenborn, Sr. and Julius Schoenborn, Jr; grandson Arnold Pemberton Schoenborn; maternal grandparents Frank Sr. and Sophia Donnell; parental grandmother Margaret Jackson; niece Stacey Parkhurst; and aunt Gwen Lawrence.
