Obituary for Sharon Rae Gardner Sharon Rae Gardner, 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Oct. 4th, 2018. She was surrounded by her loving family and went peacefully.

Sharon was born in Denver Co., May 13th 1941 to Wayne and Marcella Kaiser. Sharon came with her parents and sister Judy to Richland WA in 1945. Sharon grew up in Richland and had many friends.

She met her husband Bob at Densow’s Drug, a popular hangout where she and her father worked. Sharon and Bob married in 1959 and spent almost 60 beautiful years together in Kennewick WA. Sharon worked various jobs throughout her life, but her true dedication was making a happy life with her family.

They had 3 children and Sharon was active in all of her children’s lives. She was a Blue Bird leader, and a Den mother for the Cub Scouts; she guided each of her children and other children through these programs, being a role model to them as well as to other young mothers in her community. Family was the most important.

Sharon and Bob took their kids on all kinds of adventures, from camping in the Cascades, to fishing at the Potholes, to snowmobiling in the Blue Mountains. Also, family vacations to a big city like Washington D.C. or a small one like Dayton WA as Sharon would say, “we’re making memories”. Sharon met her Lord and Savior in the mid 70’s and became active at Kennewick First Christian Church.

She taught Sunday school and shared the love of Christ to many children including her children and husband. Sharon attended Bible Study Fellowship for many years and served on the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy in the early 80’s. Sharon was a long-time member of TOPS (Chapter #589) and looked forward to her Wednesday meetings with her friends.

She was also a member Pasco First Christian Church. Sharon lived her life to the fullest, full of love and grace and a friend to anyone she would meet. Mostly, she was a very beautiful lady who enjoyed a good laugh.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She never forgot her mission here on earth in drawing others to the Lord. Sharon is preceded in death by her father Wayne E. Kaiser; mother Marcella A. Kaiser; and aunt Dorothy J. Kaiser.

Sharon is survived in death by her husband Gerald Robert (Bob) Gardner of Kennewick; Son Gary Gardner and wife Kathy of Richland; Daughter Lori Wolfer of Kennewick; Son Timothy Gardner and fiancé Cillia of Kennewick; Sisters Judy Hostetler (Colbert, WA) and Cindy Miller and husband Gary (Cheney, WA). 6 grandchildren; Justin, Jennifer, Jacob, Michelle, Kaitlyn, and Sydnie. In addition, she is survived by 7 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
