Obituary for Sharon Rose Horn Sharon was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on March 9, 1946. She graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1964 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Accounting at Texas Wesleyan University. Sharon married David Horn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on May 28, 1966; death parted them thirty years later on August 27, 1996.

After receiving her teaching certificate in primary education, she later earned a Master of Counseling Education. Sharon loved her career as an elementary school teacher, spending the last decade of her teaching career at Peters Colony Elementary School in The Colony, Texas. Sharon is survived by daughter Joanna Cone and husband Steve of Frisco, TX; daughter Becki Stanton and husband Cody of Dallas, TX; son Stephen Horn and wife Beth of Little Elm, TX; daughter Sarah Woods and husband Josh; granddaughters Reanna Bell, Elizabeth Cone, Emily Cone, and McKenzie Horn; grandsons Ethan Horn, Joey Woods and Blake Woods; sister Norma Jarrett and husband Bob of Broken Arrow, OK; and other family and friends.
