Obituary of Sharon Pittler Sharon Pittler passed away December 17, 2018 in Lockport Rehab & Health Care Center. Born February 2, 1940 in Elmira she was the daughter of John D. and Marian Mortimer. Sharon worked for Chemung County Department of Social Services in Elmira.

Sharon was very involved in her churches, Bethany Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, she was also a member of the Order of Eastern Stars. She enjoyed listening to music, reading and tending to flowers. She was predeceased by her husband Nelson E. Pittler on June 2, 2011, son Tyson Pittler, and sister Marjorie Broock.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Krista (Jay) Zimmerman and her two granddaughters Chloe and Evelyn Zimmerman. There will be no prior visitation. Friends and Family are invited to a Memorial Service on Thursday December 20, 2018 at 11 AM at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 6167 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY.
