Shelia Whittemore Martin Humboldt, TN Mrs. Shelia Lorene Whittemore Martin age 60, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at her residence. She was born September 17, 1958 in Somerville to the late Wilbur Whittemore and Maxine Armstrong Whittemore. Mrs. Martin was a division manager with Murphy USA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers, Kathy Whittemore, Wilbern Patrick Whittemore and Michael Lewis Whittemore. Survivors include her husband, Danny Alford; son, Silas Bert Martin, Jr. of Hillville; daughter, Kris Martin of Hillville; step-mother, Alchie Whittemore of Somerville; step-daughters, Amanda McNeal of Lexington and Katie Crider of Medina; step-son, Anthony Alford of Humboldt; brother, Wilbur Whittemore, Jr. (Will) of Somerville; three sisters, Debbie Warren of Hillville, Rita Chan of Memphis and Gail Hartman of Somerville. Other survivors include eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Martin will be conducted Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Medina Funeral Home with Thomas Martin officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
