Mrs. Virgie Turner departed this life on December 13, 2018 in Jackson, Tennessee. She was born on February 10, 1930 in Lewisburg, Louisiana to the late Jacque Jagneaux and Ora Lavergne Jagneaux. A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Virgie had a zest for travel especially to home state, Louisiana.

She was a true “Cajun” at heart. She had a very special place in her heart for her black cat, “Kitty” Mrs. Virgie was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Christopher Augusta Turner and Jacque Turner; and two brothers, Rodney Jagneaux and Jack Jagneaux as well the father of her children, Talton A. Turner. She is survived by her son, Roy A. Turner (Debbie) of Jackson, Tennessee; daughter Natalie Turner of Humboldt, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Tayrn Ferguson (Andy) of London, England and Whitney Lewandowski (Matt) of Spring Hill, Tennessee; and one great granddaughter, Laney Elizabeth Lewandowski.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 17, 2018 at Antioch Cemetery with Bro. James Keeton officiating and burial to follow.
