Obituary for Shelby Mae Moroni Shelby Mae Moroni, 76, passed away Friday October 12, 2018. She was born in Forkland, on April 27, 1942, a daughter of the late Ray Samuel and Carrie Mae Johnson Burger. Shelby was the wife of 54 years to the Rev.

Ron Moroni. Shelby attended the Perryville Presbyterian Church and was dedicated to supporting her husband’s Pastorates over the years. She enjoyed watching UK basketball and was thrilled to have attended several games over the years.

She also enjoyed watching wrestling on television and attending the weekly Perryville Jamboree. In addition to her husband, Ron, Shelby is survived by a brother, Darrell Burger (Kevin Ritchie), and sister-in-law, Sue Burger. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Glen Burger, and two sisters, Edna Marie Jones and her infant twin sister, Shirley Rae Burger.

The funeral service will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday October 16, 2018 at Walden Funeral Home Perryville with her husband, Rev. Ron Moroni officiating. Burial will follow in Parksville Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m., until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions to Perryville Presbyterian Church or Heritage Hospice. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Shelby Mae Moroni please visit our Sympathy Store.
